We encourage those at higher risk or anyone uncomfortable with in person attendance for any reason, to use our online live streaming of the worship service on our website, www.glclex.org and/or to participate in small group gatherings via ZOOM.
Those who have any symptoms of illness, have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or have tested positive for COVID-19, are asked to stay home to avoid risk of infecting others.
NOTE NEW MASK POLICY: The Church Council has voted, in line with Health Officials' Guidance, that masks are no longer required for those vaccinated for COVID19. If you are feeling ill or are an unvaccinated ADULT we ask that you please MASK while at Gethsemane. Thank you.
Facemasks and hand-sanitizer will be available in various stations.
A physical distance of at least 6 feet is required throughout the building. Seating will be marked in the sanctuary. Families are a reasonable exception and may sit together.
We discourage physical contact with others, such as hugging, shaking hands, etc. Families are a reasonable exception.
The offering plate will not be passed during worship, but will be placed near the sanctuary entrance for those wishing to give their offerings while in person.
Communion at worship will be offered with elements distributed individually in separate containers only and without person to person interaction.
Nursery Service will not be provided for any event.
Refreshments will not be served unless pre-packaged.
Signs will be posted for assistance in following guidelines and ushers will be available for questions at worship.
